On the Road in January

I had a great day today. The weather was around 40F but sunny and no wind. An absolutely glorious day so I thought I'd get the trusty old '48 Dodge D25 Club coupe out and hit the road. Most of the snow is gone and the roads were dry. Heater is working so stayed warm although it was nice enough outside to be able to sit on the bumper and have a cool one. How can you tell my favourite colour is blue! I set my camera on a fence post with the timer on and only had to take one picture. Went home and my daughter and three month old grandson were over so I got a chance to hold the newest member of the family and fall asleep with him in my favourite chair. Son-in-law came over later and I barbecued burgers as it was still nice outside. What a great day. I'm always glad to be alive but some days are more special than others. Today was one of those days!

Right on Robert, things don't get any finer that that, we had to settle on taking the kids to a large indoor pool in Winnipeg today. The weather was quite snowy, not like southern Alberta............Fred
