carl b51 Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Greg did you put the flashing under the duct insulation ? The Studebaker looks GOOD . Carl Quote
greg g Posted June 24, 2009 Author Report Posted June 24, 2009 (edited) No I cut the insulation about an inch or so short then stuck it in place with the flashing stuff. Floor underneath is mostly new metal and seam sealed from the inside and unercoated on the bottom. So between the Under coating, the insulation the flashing and new mats it should be cool and quiet. The flashing stuff comes with an aluminum backing,if you want that type. I got the 4 inch wide comes in a 33 foot roll for 9 bucks at Lowes. They also have a wider one, but I thought the narrower stuff would be easier to deal width its got a plastic film exposed surface. Once you pull the paper and start to stick it is not impossible to remove but pretty darn close. Thanks for the compliment but the pictures look a lot better than the real deal. Its gonna be a 50/50 truck when done. From 50 feet at 50mph it will look good. Edited June 24, 2009 by greg g Quote
