52FargoMan Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 Does anybody have any experience with fiberglass fenders? I have read the posts about running boards and was wondering if anyone here has used the fenders. I know Horkey's has them. Any other suppliers of metal or fiberglass fenders? My truck is really banged up fender wise... Quote
Bob_Koch Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 Bebops has 'em: http://bebops-glassworks.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=159:4853-dodge-truck-parts&catid=35:fenders&Itemid=60 Quote
Vintrader Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 (edited) Look's like BeBops is a little less money than Horky's but has no pictures. My guess is they get them from the same source. I have never been a big fan of fiberglass body parts but in this case due to the fact that they are not to big and are all most completely curved, they should be very strong. That is for the rears. I am not sure I would go that route on the fronts. Kinda big and alot of flat surface. Just my opinion. Dutch http://www.horkeyswoodandparts.com/page37.html Edited June 10, 2009 by Vintrader Quote
52FargoMan Posted June 10, 2009 Author Report Posted June 10, 2009 Hey Dutch - are there any other options for the front besides pounding out the old fenders? Does anyone make a NOS metal fender? Mine are pretty shabby. Ironically tho', the running boards are mint. Quote

smallblockjunkie Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 I have glass rear fenders. They are ok but I would like to have steel ones. Quote

Vintrader Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 I don't know of anyone that makes steel fenders for our trucks. Have you looked at the "Truck Parts For Sale" section of this forum? http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=15 Dutch Quote
