Noticed no one touched your question. Mebby we're not all calling the same things by the same names. There is no weatherstrip between the radiator shroud and the hood. On the back end of the hood towards the windshield there is some cowl lacing - available from any Model A Ford store or Mac's Auto Parts, etc. that was origuinally riveted in place with small spiral nails. I replaced mine with small countersunk head screws. Where the frontmost part of the hood meets the grille sheetmetal there are some very small round rubber bumpers that rarely do any good because he body fits on most of our stuff is not close enough for them to work. Having said all that, the small round rubber bumpers are available from (gulp) Roberts. See links section for phone/web address.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I'm not understanding your question.

Thanks

Don't know about the trucks, but the mid 40 cars did have an adjustable assembly that bolts on between the radiator and the hood. If this is any use to the truck folks, there is a downloadable pattern for the rubber top piece shown in the picture. Go to the main page and look at the down loadable items. These are mirrior image deals so one pattern fits both sides. I cut my pieces out of a thin piece of rubber matting that has 1 ply of fiber in it, like the stuff that youmight find under a battery.
