A fellow in the lobby just said that everything that falls in Wyoming blows into Nebraska. Thats the problem now, I-80 is closed from Cheyenne to 60 miles into Nebraska. I love it.

Neil,

I'm fifty miles south of you and we had a couple inches of snow last November. It resembles a dust bowl here, literally, and we were begging for some of that snow. Oh, well, maybe next year if we don't blow away.

Pretty nice place here, the Sleep Inn, almost new. Full of people waiting for

I-80 to open East bound. Nebraska is still closed for 50 miles East of the border anyway.

I'm glad to have this forum to keep me semi-sane. Its the best I get.

Niel;

I feel your pain. I am trapped in Boston, MA. Last week I was trapped in Seattle, WA. Before that I was trapped in Kansas City, MO and Minneapolis, MN. Before that I was trapped in Charlotte, NC, Dulles, VA, and Richmond, VA. Being trapped is no fun.

Wyoming and Nebraska road condition web sites both say the road is open. As I type I am looking out the window onto I-80, exit 367 and there is very little traffic. Gonna leave in the morning no matter what.

Neil,

Get a good night's sleep and have a safe drive home. Next time you get this way let us know and I'll bet Johnny S and I can find a good place for a cup of coffee and a piece of pie to share.
