jimainnj Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 Did the p15 Special Delux (47) have stainless molding around the back window ? Quote
Young Ed Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 I don't believe so. Some models can have one added from the bigger cars. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 As Ed mentioned, the P15 did not have the stainless around the rear window. You could use one from another car as he mentioned. However, to do that you would probably have to buy a new rubber seal for around the window. The rubber seals are different shape for cars with the stainless so the stainless fits over them. Quote
Young Ed Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 Actually I bet for a sedan the other brands wont work. All the DPCD club coupes share a rear window. However someone on here needed a window for a dodge 4dr sedan. I looked it up and the ply 4dr sedan uses a diff window then the dodge desoto and chrysler. Anyone need a ply 4dr sedan rear window Quote
steveplym Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 Mine is a special deluxe and does not have the stainless around the rear window, like Norm said. Did any of the Plymouths have stainless around the rear window. I didn't think any of the p-15's did. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 I like the looks without stainless anyway. However, if you are dead set on having some bright work around there, let me know. I have some literature from some company in Michigan that makes plastic chrome in various widths. Comes in rolls and is self stick. They use to have a web site and I do have it bookmarked. However, since I can't remember the name of the company I'll have to look for the literature. That could take some time. Quote
