Brendan D25 Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 That is a wild looking rig, Fred. That will get you to the shop in a hurry. Is it 47 or 48 Hudson? Brendan. Quote
GeorgeLeonard Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 Hi, Where do you find trucks like this in the Netherlands? Its hard enough to find such a vehicle here. Unless, of course, you had it shipped from the USA? Quote
Dennis Hemingway Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 That is a neet looking truck. I have always liked the Hudson Trucks. Dennis:cool: Quote
Normspeed Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 Great truck Fred. And I remember those Hurst stickers. Came in the box when you got a Hurst. Very cool. There were some conversion kits sold to make a Hudson sedan into a pickup. Saw this car up in Dennis Hemingway's neck of the woods last year. Wish I had a better side view, it's hiding behind that beat up Suburban. Owner said in some areas you could see parts of the passenger car that were left on when the bed was installed. If I had yours I'd make up some funky stakesides to go on that little flatbed. Quote
fredsv8shop Posted February 3, 2009 Author Report Posted February 3, 2009 We are going to fly from Amsterdam to Bristol in the UK next Friday to collect the truck and will be driving it home to the Netherlands ( 400 Miles trip ) Wheather forecast say's snow and lots of wind in the UK so it is going to be a good test run for the car. pity there is no heating in the car !!! Keep you updated on our voyage home. Fred & Marianne Quote
John Mulders Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 Have a safe trip and enjoy the lefthand driving ! John Quote
Flatie46 Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 Cool truck! As far as the heat goes, I've got a little heater/defroster that plugs in to a cigerette lighter I bought it at advance auto. Works good,it's hot soon as you turn it on you dont have to wait on the engine to warm up before you have heat. I really do like that truck I always liked the hudson cars too. Quote
