Bob_Koch Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 Thought you might want to see a couple of the Dodge trucks coming up on the Barrett-Jackson auction block in Arizona. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/carlist/cardetails.asp?In_AuctionID=221&In_LotNumber=128 And http://www.barrett-jackson.com/carlist/cardetails.asp?In_AuctionID=221&In_LotNumber=1614 Quote
Young Ed Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 Wow such nice trucks. That second one is a 40. 1 year only grill design. Thats the deluxe cab with chrome windshield. I dont think any of them had chrome bumpers though. Quote
Rich Gengo Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 I could never understand how someone could build a nice truck like that red one and not spend $5.00 for a can of paint for the engine! You see that all the time too. Quote
Guest Dave Claussen Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 I have to second that sentiment, Rich. If you're going to spend so much time building what is an otherwise sharp truck, why in the world would you not try to make the engine look nice too? When you open your hood at the local cruise-in, you want people to say "whoa, look at that sharp engine" The look of that particular engine really takes away from the overall appearance of a truck that's up for sale from a high profile outfit like Barrett-Jackson. The least they could have done was paint the valve covers. Just my two and a half cents worth. Quote
