PatS.... Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 1.5 ton camper That Camper reminds me of a well worn book I've had for almost 30 years called "Rolling Homes" by Jane Lidz Some great old trucks' date=' and I mean tandem axle logging trucks, from the late 40's and early 50's converted into homes on wheels. Some crudely and some with very fine woodwork and full of antiques. Some smaller trucks as well. Some Dodges and I think a Fargo. Cover Truck is a Pilothouse:) Building one is on my to do list. 52B3B108 Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 Todd, I like both trucks, but the '53 especially. Is it a 1 1/2 ton too? Quote
Vintrader Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 I took this picture at the ATHS Show in Baltimore this year. I thought it fit where this topic seems to be going. Dutch Quote
PatS.... Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 As reliable as those old Generals were, that's a fitting place for a trailer. He's gonna need it Quote
PatS.... Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 And then there is the modern version of the housetruck...awesome. http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/for_sale_guys_bus.htm Quote
