Door Weatherstrip Question

Has anyone used the kit from Steel Rubber products? I got a kit from Roberts and not satisfied, it would have to be put on the door, not the cab. The Steel Product looks like part would be on the cab and front of door, but the cab part dose not appear to go far enough to the front of the cab. The Steel Product looks to be a better fit.

In the original half of the weatherstrip is on the door, and half is on the truck. I don't know who ever came up with this idea but that's the way it should go. I'll try to find my pics for you and post them.

I have teh Steele weatherstripping. It fit perfectly. My original was too far gone to tell what it was supposed to look like, but it was in two pieces just like what Steele provides. The Steele stuff fit into the same positions without trimming.

Thanks for the info, will go with steel. Jim the pictures of your truck are great, should help anyone working on these trucks. Dennis your pictures helped with the weatherstrip.
