Partsstore Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Hi, Searched around what kind of engine oil to put in my truck. 1952 B-series Flathead. We hardly ever have weather that makes water turn into ice. And it never gets real hot either. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 I use Penzoil 10w 30w HD in my 218 48 Coupe because we do get nice and cold here and I don't want to change oil just because of the seasons. However, if you are warm all year round, you could probably get away with just straight 30w HD oil. Quote
Young Ed Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 I leave 10w40 in my flatheads year round. However I don't start them in the dead of winter when its really cold. Quote
Partsstore Posted October 14, 2008 Author Report Posted October 14, 2008 Allright, thanks everybody. Quote
