It is an internet thing and a good one at that. Like a craiglist. Major centers have their own kijiji, such as Saskatoon, Winnipeg etc.....

Listings are free, for sale, wanted to buy, or trade.

I use it plenty.

THAT did'nt take as long as Esmey telling me what I should and should'nt do !

OOOh buy the way, craigs list kicks my backside. I just cannot seem to get the hang of it. Could have had a few good deals but this computer biz is really hit and miss for me. Still on the hunt and peck system, somtimes on the fatfinger system too!

I can turn a wrench but

the internet is still turning on me.

We have a site for "Free Stuff" here in the Milwaukee area. Don't know the web address though, just heard people talk about it. Guess people use it to give away or trade things they don't want to throw away. My guess is, a lot of areas have something similar.

We have a thing here called Freecycle.

All the stuff is free. Just list it and someone will

speak up for it. Or you can say the item is sitting on

the curb----come and get it.

Freecycle is continent-wide. Through Yahoo Groups. Mostly kids toys and cloths and garage sale leftovers but sometimes neat stuff shows up.

I got my DeWalt table saw circa 1959 off freecycle. The saw's a gem...a keeper for sure.
