Finally the '48 P15 engine bay restoration is done!

Mine was black, and I then wrapped some chrome tape around it to dress it up. The wipers do come off the same vacuum line beneath the dash. One branch of the the line goes to the vacuum top push/pull switch on the passenger end of the dash.....then on back to the two top cylinders.

I believe the "muffler" is actually a vacuum check valve.  Blowing through each end produced this discovery for me.  - Mark D
