Hey guys I’m new to the forum. I have a 1967 Dodge Dart and my grandpa has a 1950 dodge. I’m almost done working on the dart and want to start working on the 1950 dodge. He’s always wanted to get disc brakes on it. Does anyone know how to make that happen? Is there a kit? List of parts I would need to get to make it work? Anything helps!

Hey folks, I'm wanting to do a front disc brake conversion on my WC 1/2 ton truck using this kit https://scarebird.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=64&product_id=134 I was just curious to see if anyone else has used this kit, and also I need to figure out a way to boost the brakes. I know a lot of guys use the Rusty Hope kit, but this one already has the brackets and I'm terrible at fabbing anything so I'm willing to pay extra to have that already out of the way. My main concern is figuring out how to boost the brakes, so any help there in HIGH detail would be wonderful. I've never driven anything that has drum brakes all the way around so I don't know how bad they are at stopping, but if converting to disc wouldn't make much of a difference I'm open to just leaving the drum brakes, but I doubt they're that great hence there being conversion kits.

Hey guys. I'm getting ready to do exploder front disc swap on my 48 p15. I tried doing a search and found that I could keep the original MC, but it seems like all of you running front discs with the original MC have the original rear too. I've got a 9" rear with drums. Not sure what it's out of, it was on there when I bought the car. Assuming something 70s since that's what the motor is. Will that make a big difference? Also about the residual valves, I'm assuming I'll need a 2lb valve for the front and 10lb for the rear? Like I said, I tried searching and got a lot of links to posts that don't exist anymore, so hoping someone can help me out. Thanks!

I was looking on Bernbaum's site and noticed they just added disc brake conversion kits for 37-62 Mopars. http://www.oldmoparts.com/parts-service-brakes.aspx
