  2. I've been watching your thread Mark. Looking great! I may have to take you up on your offer.
  3. Hey everyone. Looks like spring is finally here in Minnesota! I am wondering if anyone could share any pictures of their Cummins swaps into their Pilothouses. Mine is a 53 1.5 ton. Particularly the radiator and intercooler mounting and what radiator they are using? I see some people have done the swap and it looks like they use the stock (Really Wide) radiator and intercooler but I do not see how they fit them in. Any help would be appreciated. Scott
  4. Ok, I will bite.....what are you dragging home now?
  5. Does anyone know the steering ratio of the B series trucks? I have a 2 ton that I am thinking of making a hydraulic assist steering and am trying to match a orbital valve with the same ration as the steering gear. Any help is appreciated.

  7. I have one for sale just in Minneapolis. One running (Have video) and one parts motor. One out of a 52 and the running one is a 53 25" head $350.00 for both
  8. I am selling a motor out of my 52 Dodge 2 ton. I have a party interested in buying it but we notice that my head is the “25” inch head and his is the “23” inch head. Will the 25” motor easily replace the 23” motor???
  9. Can't seem to add a picture
  10. Is this grill guard a factory option or was it aftermarket? Bought a old milk truck for parts
  11. New drive shaft is in and the truck is on the road again! 2 speed still drops out occasionally. I have order a check valve to put in line at the manifold and we will see if that helps. Truck is a blast to drive!!

  15. The u-joint that I am looking for has a 1.142 diameter cap and the distance across the caps is 4.125. A real bugger to find!
  16. Hey 1949B-1-C, can you measure that u-joint? I may be interested in it. Scott
  17. I did find a few leaks. We will see when I get my new drive shaft installed to see if it helped.
  18. Thanks for the suggestions guys! I will start with a vacuum gauge and see just how much I have
  19. Finally got my truck on the road. I have a few issues as expected. The main issue I need to resolve first is my two speed rear end. I seem to have a vacuum problem where the rear axle engages and disengages on its own mainly at highway speeds (50 MPH). I have checked for vacuum leaks and everything seems fine. Could my motor be too tired to produce enough vacuum? 1953 B-3HHA152
  20. Thank you! Great info
  21. My model number is B-3HHA152
  22. Good day, i have a Pilothouse with the original motor. Do these have vacuum advance?
  23. The only stupid mistakes are the ones that we don't learn from!
  24. I was having a friend do it but he has had it for about 5 weeks. I am going to get it back and use epoxy or JB Weld to bush it for now. I would think that The Carburetor Shop in Forest Lake could do it in a timely fashion though. http://thecarburetorshopus.com/ Scott
  25. Not a great picture but here is a governor. I have my base plate out to have the throttle shaft bushed.
