  1. I could use that Grille for parts for mine. The center bar is different than mine but the teeth are the same. If it is for sale i am interested.
  2. http://shop.ebay.com/wildponystore/m.html Check out this gathering of items (not mine) the guy must have found an envelope or box that was closed up in 1936?
  3. I thought these were stainless. I might have to try that. Thanks
  4. I got a 53-54 Dodge piece in today and removed the plastic center. It is a perfect fit, just need to drill the holes for the screws. The only problem is that the seller did not bother to tell me that one of the three hooked legs was torn off so this one does me no good. Anybody got a 53-54 Dodge horn ring center medallion (even if the plastic is bad) as long as the legs are intact that they want to sell?
  5. How much you want for the part and shipping?
  6. The 1953 and 1954 Dodge unit looks to be very close, I will have to buy one and give it a try.
  7. I meant to say what retainer are you using for your clock? The quartz movement. What did the retainer come from and what do you have it installed in?
  8. What is the horn ring center from?
  9. I will have to keep an eye on ebay and see if any of those show up with the correct retainer. I have an NOS clock but no retainer. If anyone on here has one with a bad plastic? I am a buyer
  10. Does anyone recognize the retainers that were used for the steering wheel clocks in 1953-56 from any other applications? Could they be used for some other application where the plastic medallion has been removed? Truck application? these would have been for the 2 3/4" horn ring centers. The holes for the screws will probably not be in the original applications. Some are either chrome or stainless and others are black steel. Look familiar?
  11. Ok guys! If your really want one of these and you are not afraid to polish it yourself? here you go! Selling my extinguisher starting at $100 no reserve
  12. Did it still carry the same part number? Can you get any more at that price? Yeah right:)
  13. this link should take you right there? http://shop.ebay.com/roadkillontheweb/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
  14. I am sure they P15 stuff will find a home but the 42 stuff? Not many people own them and even fewer use computers? Unless that has changed recently?? Either way it is stuff I do not need, and I hope it finds a home with someone that can use it.
  15. I have listed a bunch of NOS chrome on EBay under seller roadkillontheweb for the following cars 1942 Plymouth 1942 Chrysler 1946-48 Plymouth 1946-48 Desoto 1949 Chrysler 1951-52 Plymouth 1955 Plymouth Hope someone can make good use of it?
  16. I never even considered that! It couldn't even go on the rear quarter as suggested in the directions for installation so the T&Cs are out. WIll have to go back and correct my description. Thanks
  17. On the listing of accessories for this site it lists Spare tire valve extension but it does not have the part number (8301970) or a picture of one. But it can now! I have just listed my NOS example on Ebay but before it goes everyone can snag some of the pictures from the listing. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290374386252 I all the years Ihave been dealing NOS MoPar parts this is the first NOS example I have seen. And it is really nice for a 60+ year old part
  18. Desoto trucks came in all shapes and sizes. This one is really rare because it is a custom ordered body on top of being a Desoto. They made them in the states and a few other plants and I would say the holy grail of Desoto trucks would be the sweptside. They made at least one but nobody knows where it went to and if it still exsists toady? Of course I would have to say my Australian coupe UTE is pretty special and as far as I know the the only complete one in the states. there are not very many of them down under for that matter. PS i really need to update my webpage and add a bunch of other pictures.
  19. Have not been watching the price on the Sherrills, Damn they have gone up. I have been spending a lot of time making parts for the Junior cars that I deal with. Have been making a lot of molds lately so I am looking at a number of other molding projects like this one. Got any busted up no good Sherrills that I could tear into to check the feasability of the project with?
  20. I would have to find an old sherril and tear it apart to look at it. making the molds and casting the pieces would not be that hard. If the original sherril guts could be used and just make the outer upper section that says MoPar on it would be ideal. The Sherril bases where black but they could be painted. I have not had one for several years and the one pictured above was the only NOS one I ever found.
  21. Sure would like to reproduce these. The 46-48 MoPar accessory compass is a rare beast. Sherrill compass made the originals and they come up on ebay on occassion but do not have the MoPar logo so the only thing that would need to be cast is the outer sleeve (but good luck fining one). I have had a couple of these over the years and they sold quick.
  22. Leaving Des Moines on friday morning and driving straight through. Will load up Saturday morning and start back after that.
  23. If anybody needs something transported from Iowa to Pennsylvania (or points between) now is your chance. I need to pick up an Item in West Newton PA next weekend and will be taking my full size van out empty with the back seats out and returning with something in the back. If you have a large item hood, doors, trunk lid or whatever and want to kick in some gas money I can make it happen I will be passing through Chicago, Toledo, Cleavland, akron and Pittsburg and could even stop in route to pick something up and bring it further down the road with me. I have a hitch and trailer brakes so I could pull a trailer but this would mean more gas. Hell if someone wants to ride along and help drive while hauling thier stuff out or back that would be fine. Either way I hate to make the trip out empty when I could haul something with me. You would need to have the item to me before I leave or meet me along the route as I pass through so I do not have any long delays. Just tossing this out there, let me know if I can be of any help?
  24. That list is missing an item. the super rare MoPar Compass It mentions the electric locking gas cap that was a 49-54 accessory but could have been added by any dealer even on exsising stock during the switch over to the new models. Another favorite of mine is the Fire Extinguisher The fire extinguisher was a late addition and is more a 49-54 accessory but a darned cool one. like the razor
