  1. Here are photos of the windshield crank mechanism I have. Need the stainless tongue piece, but the item is listed for a General Motors product.
  2. Karla Maxwell indicated she thought the were for export. Doubt the truck I bought in Greeley Colorado was from the export market. Thank you for your interest.
  3. Cab is back on the frame. LOT of metal fab and replacement, all welded solid, strengthened the seat and floor a lot. welded, ground and seam sealed, then we body worked the cab and hood, is now in spray poly, kind of like a jell coat - thick primer. From here I would like to get the lower sides of the hood, then move onto the doors and front fenders, the truck will really be taking shape when we get that completed. I think you can see all the spot welds, you likely know we cannot weld a bead on sheet metal, it will just warp and distort then have to be cut out again. Hope you are happy with this step, it was a lot of work and we're relieved to have it completed. The cab is now very strong!
  4. Judy needed a table for her yard sale. Video at
  5. Ballast resistors on firewall. No battery.
  6. Thinking it's part of an earlier 12-volt conversion. Appears to have ballast resistors on the firewall. Will get some photos of them today. Thank you.
  7. Have a 1952 B-3-F with an alternator. Wondering how to determine if it is negative or positive ground. Thank you.
  8. 1938 Dodge RC Pickup Axle, Suspension, and Steering Parts. Complete hub-to-hub assemblies for both front and rear axles. Building a street rod with new parts and won't be using the original parts.
  9. Received photos from Joe Jarvis on rust removal and body work on the lower rear of the cab. Was necessary to reinforce the cab before the rusted metal was removed to maintain dimensions. If the rusty metal is cut away before reinforcement, the dimensions will change, making it difficult to get it back to shape. Maintaining the dimensions makes the doors operate properly.
  10. Received the enameled Dodge Brothers emblem from Karla Maxwell today. Looks to be an excellent restoration. Please contact me if you need her contact information. Thank you.
  11. Fabricating new firewall and floorboard pieces.
  12. Replaced the cab and grill shell to check fit.
  13. Attempted to use the rear-end assembly from the 2014-Dodge-Hemi-Charger, donor car, but there is insufficient travel to use with the planned multi-link, air-bag suspension.
  14. Recent photos from Joe Jarvis. Repositioned engine and transmission to be sure there is sufficient clearance for the oil filter, power steering, and exhaust.
  15. Tooljunkie, at the rate you're collecting, you could end up with a collection like mine. I'd be interested in your plans. Good luck.
  16. Might as well give an update on the truck shop construction. Completed perimeter excavation for the footer trench, except for the final southwest corner. The hard stoney clay layer has changed to a sandy soil with fewer stones on the west side.
  17. From Joe Jarvis: "We wire wheel these, then have it LIGHTLY sandblasted, too many problems in the past with warping on hoods so this cuts down on the heat from the sandblasting and allows it to get to the small area's we cannot get to with sand paper or wire wheel."
  18. Finished installation of the new front cross member.
  19. After boxing the frame, installation of the new front cross member.
