  1. Hi guys it's been a long while since I posted but I just could not get my 47 project off the ground like I wanted to. Thats well ok cause I just picked up a 39 Chrysler Royal. Don't beat me up about it cause I did not do it but it does have a shiverlet motor in it other wise it is all stock. I know I need to relocate the front shock uppers to the frame but what can I do to get a little stiffer/lower too front and rear suspension? If you stand on the bumper either end it drops prolly 2 inches which is really where I want the stance. I will see if I can get a pic posted. Thanks Scott
  2. Don I have been lookin at how you installed your t5 and only question I got is how did you center it in the hole on the bellhousing? Is this area the same diameter? I have my trans but dont know when I will get around to installin it. Thanks Scott
  3. If you were sprayin primer when the fire dept guy was there he may have thought it was smoke at first and stopped to check it out. We are a small hick town but we do have a paid fire dept. The only people who work for the dept. who drive a pickup are the district cheifs and there is one on each shift. He is the head guy over the shift but they do no type of code enforcement at all. Scott
  4. I bought a 97 chevy crew cab about three weeks ago removed nasty carpet to clean and low and behold there was a bank envelope under the rear half. I picked it up and it was really heavy. Opened it up and nothin but 100s started countin and started gettin weak in the knees at about 20 in all there was $3600 and some change, I didnt count that. Called po as he is a friend and he insisted I keep half...........
  5. some type of ford powered jaguar kit car. Scott
  6. Well I have been trying to figure out how to mount the brakes on the firewall and keep the clutch workin as well. I have a Suzuki Samurai that I hunt out of and the other day when I was drivin it the clutch popped and would not release. Any way when I was lookin at this the thought hit me, it is a cable operated clutch, I have another parts Sammy in the pasture. I removed the clutch/brake pedal and brake booster from the sammy and it mounted perfect on the firewall. All I need to do is make a bracket to support it on the column. I had a painless wiring harness from a 66 chevy pickup so I decided to modify it to work in the car. I got it wired where I can crank the car from inside like it is supposed to be. My next step is to get the clutch cable hooked up and the master cyl from a 78 Trans Am mounted and finish the disc conversion.
  7. Just wanted to say thanks to all the Veterans out there!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. I think you are confused. I am talking about goin ahead and doin a T-5 swap to rectify my brake and clutch pedal problems at the same time. I was just sayin where I was on the brake swap to say I wanted to swap to hanging pedals and solve it all now and not swap later after puttin a master under the floor. Scott
  9. I am lookin for a T-5 to put in my car. I have the disc installed on one side and have not bought the new rotor to install on the other side. It is a custome disc kit from part from a 75 plymouth duster. The junk yard that I deal with regularly is lookin for me a T-5. What is the best one to run? I will probably do a mod like Don did on his. I was lookin to run a dual master under the floor and the more I looked I decided it would be best to just run a master and booster on the firewall and hang a clutch/brake pedal on the firewall and run a T-5. Gotta get this done so I can get it to the body shop and get the floors done!!!! Scott
  10. Could be Katrina car but it did not flood up here car is in north LA but could have came from south. Scott
