I went to the very first Power Tour when it came thru the Allentown, Pa area. It was a great idea, however it seems to have morphed into manufacturers showing off high priced parts/cars, Hot Rod magazine giving themselves something to put in their own magazine, and something called pro touring cars. Not my idea of cars you could drive around, without a caravan of help vehicles following along.
There was an article in Rod and Custom a couple of years ago on putting a hemi in one of these cars. I know, not the same, but as stated above, Re-working the firewall was a large part of the project.
