  1. I've viewed them all and I thank you very much for uploading some of the best mags and posters of the dodge truck.
  2. I know Tod, I will find a way to fit seat belts.
  3. Thanks Old CWO, I will look into that company.
  4. Hi Greg, there is no where on the frame to fasten seat belts. I thought I might look into fastening to the seat base.
  5. Hi Young Ed, I'll try and find a book for my 1948 Dodge. I've now put it in my shed so, it's not urgent now. Thank you for your reply.
  6. I could not get the door window glass to windup. I've got to 1948 into my garage and I'll work on it during the winter.
  7. Thank you everyone, you all were very helpful and I will decide what I would like to do in regards to my seat belt dilemma. Thanks again ???
  8. All the answers and advice was spot on and I will start the work on my 1951 Dodge DG2-26 with the help I got from the forum. Thank you everyone. ??
  9. Good morning ggdad, you have done a magnificent job on the old truck. I'm not going to show my Dodge so I'm going to keep the patina. Your truck is a brand new truck now.
  10. Hi ggdad, model: DF2-26, Axle weight 7,500, Power: 3600. It's a 1 ton with a back box. What is the deference between a DG2-26.
  11. Good morning ggdad, how you doing this beautiful morning, at least it's beautiful here in Manitoba Canada. I'm not sure this is a 1.1/2 ton truck, if it is, it's very rare. I'm going to do some research on it as I've never come across a 1.1/2 ton truck with a box instead of a flatbed.
  12. I have a neighbor that has a yard full of 1/2, 3/4 & 1 tons Internationals, he has taken a Chevy drivetrain and put a International body onto the Chevy drivetrain, using all the modern auto transmission, the 4wd & all the electrics. He has old Chevy's, GMC's and lots of old cars and in-closed panel vans, but no Dodges. I've already spoken to him.
  13. I have the whole winter to decide. I already have the seats so, I'll play around with what I want to do. I do have a lot to do before I decide. I hope the seats work out for you. It seems you have done a lot of work to get to where your at.
  14. Yeah! it is a shame about the engine, but I may still get some decent parts off the truck.
