A little info on the car: It was my wife's father's car during here childhood until he died when she was 12. She's now almost 40, so it's been in the family a long time.

I'm planning to change rear pinion seal and trans output seal on our '47 2dr with Fluid drive. The last time I checked into them I was told by the parts warehouse that I would need to pull the seals and look for a part number. I don't want to pull the seals and find out I can't get them and/or have the car disassembled for several weeks. Anybody know the part numbers off hand? Thanks, Tom

Yes, wheels and tires are off of a '68 Fury III that I used to have, and the hubcaps are some sort of PLymouth caps that I found at the swap meet.

Different thread topic. Wasn't really expecting someone to come into my wanted thread and offer info on interchangeabilty. I basically have someone offering to sell me an item that neither of us knows whether it will work or not, so I'm now asking whether it will fit so that I can complete the transaction. Not cool to do so? Maybe I can wait a few days and someone who knows the answer, but has no parts to sell may possibly just pop in in case their knowledge is needed? I can live with that I guess.
