  1. I did the same modification and also cut 1/2 coil. Got the drop I wanted but the alignment man said the bump steer was to great and there wasn't enough adjustment to correct it. Suggested 2 other springs to raise it up to get room to adj. Did you have any problems like this? I am open for ideas...
  2. I got a little happy lowering my P15 and cut too much. Need a new set. Will take P15 springs or a set from another mopar that may be heavier or even a little longer. Thanks for your help with advice where to get or ones for sale.
  3. Great pic's. I am facing the same repair on my '48 4dr P15. It's good to see a great job to emulate. Thanks and keep the report coming Dick Davis
  4. You are building a super coupe. A great choice for a rear seat. Keep us posted on the next chapter. Dick Davis South Carolina
  5. I am new, just bought a 1948 P15 Sedan, I'm presently installing disc brakes, it will be much safer and with some frugal shopping and using Charlies kit I am saving money over replacing with stock items. The long term goal is to build into a street rod, leaving the 6cyl hopped up and adding t-5 trans, among some other items. Regarding Mr Burnbaum, I spent 40 years in the retail business handling tires, auto parts and repair, plus Appliances and lawn&gardenequipment with parts. " Customers arn't always right and this isn't Sears & Roebuck." Give Mr AB the benefit of the doubt and all the correct serial #'s with concise infor mation when you call (as I will when I need more parts) I bet the service you get will be very good. Dick Davis
  6. Thank you for posting this message, it's strange that we have to get this information on a hobbyist forum. Thanks, again. Dick Davis South Carolina
