  1. Does my heart good to see someone save an old truck like that, especially a young man. Good luck with her Justin. Ed
  2. I looked at my filler neck and it has some cracks too. I talked to Gary Roberts and he sent me a new one. He would like you to call him if you have any problems at all and he will try to fix it.
  3. I've often wondered what I would say if someone asked to buy mine. I think they would have to come up with way more than it's worth for me to consider it. Ed
  4. Got mine from Gary too several years ago and it's still ok. Gary has always been very nice to me but I've bought some things like glove box bumpers from him that weren't correct. I think that some of his suppliers might not be giving him what he expects from them. Ed
  5. Thanks Merle. I just wasn't sure if the trans. needed to be worked on or not. The odometer only has a little over 9000 miles on it. I do know that the cable was broken for a while but I don't think the truck has enough miles that the trans. was worn to bad.
  6. I was wondering how good the shifting sycronizzers were back in the day. My trouck grinds with every shift. I can double clutch and that helps a little. Looking for a little feedback before I dig in to. Also I guess my truck has a 4 speed because it has 4 forward speeds. I hardly use first gear. Thanks, Ed
  7. Mark, I did the same thing. Thightened the inner trim on my drivers side windshield and cracked the lower corner. I'm just living with it for now. Ed
  8. Keven was this on your B1B?
  9. I'm not any help but I need to get my temp gauge fixed. I did get my Speedometer fixed and it was around $250. The bearing was frooze up. It was a company in Minnisota I think. I would have to look up their name but they were listed in the PH club info.
  10. Dan I read your post because I was dealing with the same issues. My old filter is just like your old one and not only does it fit right the top metal piece fits better on the shaft. I just bought a Napa 1011 filter and it isn't worth the trouble trying to jam that thing down in there. I wish I could get a filter like came out of it. What brand have you been using and also what weight oil? Detergent or non detergent? Thanks B2B Ed
