Even with not knowing the american car stuff to well the motor and title match from 1947 the only sad thing is az mvd made get a new title

Ok sorry i'm sure this comes up a lot but I have searched in every combination of motor id / engine # etc. and ca not find a chart or info how to decipher this number. I have a # on my 1947 title that says p15844961 that same number is on the motor. Cool this means original motor to the car but waht size is it?? I also found some other numbers after spending 3 hours and 40 bucks in quarters at the car wash yesterday. any Idea gurus of #'s

Hey anybody have a good source for tune up and comon use parts for these cars ?? I'm really looking for a differant source other than napa we don't get along. any how new to this mopar thing and need a little help thanks in adavance.

Very cool. Here in az that would be a huge plus. What effect if any was there on the head bolts torque and how to you set you belt tension?

Wow cool set up. is this a commom up grade or do I need to source some really hard to find stuff? This picture has sold me on staying with my stock motor if I can just change a cam and head for better flow?? -

Ya yo run into steering problems a lot when you get that low even in a vw my 63 bu has a 2 inch narrowed beam and drop spindles but the cool thing is I was able to get 4.5 brms from machine 7 over in your neck of the woods so I have good clearance. no bump steer as my buddy has with his 4" beam I will def try to post any project pics as I am just getting started in the hod rod scene ben doin vw's for like 20 years

Springs are ok in the trunk I just didn't want it to fall on me when I was cleaning out all the crap from the trunk.

I wish it was already that low but yes it's photoshoped. My buddy Joe was messing with it. I do love the mother natured cured look may have to just clean up the interior and ride as is.
