  1. olddaddy it would have been nice to know before that you live so near to Orlando, I was there two months ago for the Rumblers CC meeting. It could have been an occasion to meet and maybe pickup the parts for my disc brake conversion without paying expensive shipping&handling&customs!
  2. I'm in too! I can see also a forum member from munich in germany...nice to have one other user less than 400 miles from home!!
  3. so, hope it works, this is a picture of my dodge taken directly from my blog http://junkyardkid.blogspot.com/ olddaddy, I'll contact you as soon as I have an idea of what I'll need for my brakes! thankyou! I've already used the search function and I think that the topic about the drop and disc brakes you linked me it's the one that I look more here on the forum! Yes Mackster, you've seen my name also on the hamb, I think that my english s**ks, but I'm improving it also looking here and on the hamb! By the way thankyou!
  4. first post for me... I just started to work on my 1948 dodge club coupè... I know that someone on this forum don't like to modify this old beautis, but i want mine to sit lower than stock. I was thinking about fatman dropped spindles/uprights kit but it will require disc brakes and so I started looking to the various kits on the market through the search function here on the forum. I saw nice kits like oldaddy one, but parts stores here in Italy don't sell parts like rotors and calipers for this kind of cars, so I was thinking about a complete kit like ECI or MP brakes to have all the parts I need from an unique source... so, suggestions? other sources? thank you for any help!
  5. maybe after 8k posts the description under the nickname should change from zen master to something else!
  6. I just gave a look to the shipping prices to Italy... Ordering from c2c all the parts that they produce for the d24 floors is 680$, the shipping to Italy is from 580$ to 720$... I need to find a most economical way to do it! And I also need to see wich parts I need (this was only a test) How about quality and fitting? If they're good maybe it will be ok to spend a lot of money, If they need a lot of trimming and modifications maybe it would be better to fabricate pans in Italy for me... Thank you for informations!
  7. some kind of IKEA airfilter?? off topic, just curious!!
  8. hi guys! i just started working on my d24 to put it back on the road, about your setups...i was able to find informations on more or less everything you're talking about, but not a lot about edgy heads...what about the price? and reliability?? just curious! it will be a long time before i want/need to buy parts like this...
  9. i like it...maybe a little too extreme, but i like it, just saved some pictures when i saw it for the first time on the hamb! what i don't like so much is the back window, with this kind of split window in my opinion the car seems to be older...but it's just my idea, i think that everybody should be free to do what he likes more out of his car! (not here in italy...law is so strict on heavily modified stuff )
