  1. Love the photo (from Thursday) ..... nice look at a great car.
  2. Try Michael WARSHAW .... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2274878989438277&set=a.2230030167256493&type=3&theater Vintage American Auto Parts and Restoration ...
  3. It's a gravel guard insert ... fits behind the bumper ..... the holes suggest to me that it's the front gravel guard ,,,,, not sure what specific year of application.
  4. I've used a U-Haul dual axle car hauler .... see my icon image ..... to pull a P18 Club Coupe from Colorado to Tulsa OK and back .... it was an easy but fairly long pull. Used a gas Suburban. Rented the U-Haul on a "local" .... for a week. I've also had a transport on other situations. I'd go with another transport company first choice.
  5. Here's another view .... can't imagine it's not NOS from the "inside" view.
  6. Digging through some of my stuff and found this NOS old bumperette .... anyone know what it may fit ??
  7. To get the exact rim (if you are using originals which it sounds like you are) you will likely need to grab one either off a donor car or find one on eBay ..... I've got one here in Colorado but not sure what it might take to ship to BC. John
  8. You are welcome Wayne .... I wish I could have purchased that 1937 Chevy coupe listed in the Ad for $10 down and $8 a week !!! or the 1936 Hudson !!
  9. Not a great copy but something from 1957 at least.
  10. No .... not the Casey's General Store ... that's 301 East Lincolnway .... it's 201 East Lincolnway ...and is now an Insurance Agency .... http://www.yelp.com/biz/advantage-insurance-and-financial-services-jefferson
  11. 201 East Lincolnway, Jefferson, Iowa ..... it's now the Casey's General Store location it appears. Here are some 1952 ads for the business. Couldn't find anything earlier (yet).
  12. Then ..... looking at the top of the door ... note that the taller portion is sitting in a position to be "interior" and the smaller portion of the "V" in the gasket to the "exterior" of the door. In my way of seeing your original photos this is as you have it in your orientation #1 ...
  13. Joe, some additional photos from a different car ..... installed, likely factory install, with the same orientation as the earlier one. The perspective on these is from the passenger side door, about a foot from the bottom .... note that the flat piece goes "down" to the door ... not pointing "out" or "in" relative to the door. The smaller portion of the "V" in the gasket to the door skin (outer) side .... the larger portion of the "V" to the interior of the car. Hope these help more than they confuse. The last one is held oriented to the door ... just like it came off .... with the taller portion of the "V" to the interior of the car. John
  14. From these it would seem that your 1st picture is correct .... but I'm only assuming that this install on my car is factory original. I can't prove it. But the larger width portion of the gasket sits more towards the interior of the car. The second photo is definitely wrong.
  15. And another ...........
