1980 Chevy Van, I bought new, and still have today, has been a lemon from day 1. In the shop at the dealer, over, and over, and over, for a lot of different problems. I will let it rust away, before I would give any stress to anyone else.
I run 2 compressors for my shop. A 5Hp 22 gallon is my main unit, and the 2 hp I have had for 25 years, I can turn on if needed. I just run the air inlets to the same air line. I have air outlet connections in different parts of the shop. Both compressors are in an out building, where it is cooler, and keeps much of the noise out of the shop.
This happen to me a long time ago. I had a crack in the fuel line near the fuel pump sucking air, but did not leak any fuel. Had another problem with a internal collapsed muffler that caused a similar situation.
The Germany 2500 sounds like the "Gimmick", car dealer here have used for many years. Dealers will give you 2500 or more "discount" if you will pay Full Price for a vehicle. Rebates, dealer discounts, free this and that, and employee pricing, are just more of the "Gimmicks" used to get you to purchase a vehicle.
On my pair of 38s coupes, the Business Coupe does not have the door vent window, and on the Delux Coupe, it has the door vent window. I prefer the vent.
............I noticed on ebay these "Rat rods", sell for around $10,000............I believe the term "Rat" came from "Ratty", meaning low bucks looking, ratty looking..or rag looking..
One thing about K1 is that any rubber parts will increase in size. So for rubber parts like valve seals, or gaslets, K1 would not be good, for a long term contact.
I see the Napa filter is over $10........... In my 38 Ply, I have been using Fram C3 from Tractor Supply,,,cost $6.........The C3 is very similar to the Napa 1080...
