  1. It's a 3 speed with a floor shift?
  2. I am in no way trying to make anyone mad or show off here. In the first picture, if you look at the rear tire theres only dirt on the center section of the tire. Some tire shops just put whatever pressure it states on the tire but thats at rated capacity. When running empty it doesnt let the whole tread width come in contact with the pavement. It also wears out the middle of the tread faster. Mabey it's just the way the pictures look, but it's something to look at.
  3. As of this morning they still had a couple used ones left. I got mine on the way. thanks for this info.
  4. In Il. you have to fill out some paperwork and I think what happens is they send the previous owner your information so if he wants to contact you he can. If not, you just don't hear back.
  5. When you shift gears the syncros basically have to speed up or slow down the input shaft/clutch disc to engage the desired gear. A big truck uses a large diameter clutch to take advantage of square area. A smaller engine, less load can take advantage of a smaller clutch/ less mass to speed up or slow down = faster shifts less wear and tear on the tranny.
  6. Unless they changed it, In IL. a vehicle is considered in storage after three years. Just have to pay for the plates to get it back on the road.
