    I understand completely there is so much to do on these old cars. Time and money. And I tend to do what I like to do to stay motivated then do what needs to be done.

    Cool I didn't know if i should go allumnuim. I have 2 extra origenal radiators I can take to see if they are good or not. As I was going to run electric on either new or original any ways. Thank u.

    But he's cool stuff has a weld on motor mount and transmission mount. I already bought them about 230. There is no bolt on i have checked every where. So I got the weld on ones . Now I am looking for rear end and probably will have to have drive line custom made.

    It looks like u benefitted from have more space on are passenger side your driver side.

    It looks like u kept most of your inner fenders that looks good i am going to put the battery in the engine compartment to along with 12 volt fuse box. I am going to run no fan blade and run electric fan.

    Front clip off ready to pull the flat 6 and see how much inner fender I am gou g to have to cut and clean up. Before installing 360.

    The one with the nice paint job is my all original. The other one is my hot rod.

    I am also looking for a kit to relocate the front shocks. I heard that help them ride better.

    I am goi g with disc brake conversion kit. And brake pedal and master cylinder. And 8 3/4 rear end with disc brakes. Thanks for info.

    does anybody know if u can pull the flat 6 and transmission and put 360 engine and transmission in a 1940dodge d14 without pulling off the front clip

    I have 2 1940 dodge 4 doors 1 is all original with flat 6. The other is goibg to be all dodge hot rod.

    Nice I can't wait to see how it looks when welded in. What kind of welder are u welding it in with. I just found me a high performance 360 and 727 transmission today for my 1940 hit rod.

    I want to see how u do it. My rockers are being made. I have to cut my old ones out and put new ones when they get here.

    I found the other thread thank u. It looks like the jeep cherokee is the best fit at 60 inches like mine with disc brakes.
