I only used the front section of the Dakota ,I didn't want the frame hump above the rear axle on the Dakota so i married the old to the new frame ,mine was on a 1951 Dodge panel and I didn't want to deal with the hump ,a pick up truck might be different because you could raise the inside of the box I did not want to do that in my panel van .

The key to which frame to look at is where the rear kick-up is located. Remember, you can shorten or stretch the frame as needed.

There are several wheelbase options. This happens to be for a 1994 but the same info is available for all years.

Look up "budstruck".....He did a frame mod to his Dakota to fit his 53 PH.
