Hi all, today is the Golden State Region's annual picnic held at Prado dam in the Chino area of So. Cal. It is open to all and if any of you folks find yourself in the area be sure join in. It is a pot luck so bring along something to share. We can be found by driving through the parks road and look for the Maroon club banner as well as some of the vintage cars. Bring family and a friend too. I guarantee that you will have a wonderful time so come on out..... There is a park fee of around $5 to get into the park. Hope to see some of you there.

Sure was a nice time. Great spot with green grass and shade trees, some really nice SoCal POC members, wonderful breezy summer weather, what more could you ask for? Nearby on the lake there were few guys running their R/C speedboats. Some were on nitro and alky (the boats not the POC folks). I think.

Bob I hope you might run back over the names of the attendees, some of them are on the forum. I'm pretty bad with names. However, I was happy to see Richard, Mr. Belvedere, in attendance. The POC club held their regular meeting and they made me close my eyes and cover my ears so I wouldn't learn the club's secret handshake and stuff. In that configuration I took a nice afternoon nap.

The potluck was great, with salads, tamales, fried chicken, spicy sausages, followed by fresh pineapple, cantaloupe and watermelon for dessert. yum.

Thanks for the invite and the hospitality, SoCal POC. You're all right!
