Big Jim of Texas is selling fiber glass replicas. I bought fender skirts from him, but I have to say they do not fit too good, different curvature to the fender, even if they were supposed to be especially for 1946-48 Dodge...

Agape Auto is making and selling high quality steel/aluminium products. I've heard lots of recommendations for them.

In case you look for genuine Fulton, you need to check e(vil)Bay: Be careful with the condition, check pictures and description closely. I got a good one for $150, but my buddy here got an useless piece full of bad dents and twisted for $100.

Unfortunate thing what happened with Norm. However, I've had mine on for a year now and have been driving on highways 55mph. Trucks do the same speed and there has been no problems. Pay attention on the mounting. The visor needs to be in correct position and angle. On a Fulton there are two stainless center supports to the windshield divider. They will grab the divider chrome bar real tight. Do not mount the supports on the divider rubber weatherstripping! - In that case they may tear open at thrust.

Good luck in hunting,

Mine was on good and tight too at the divider bar. Was on the car for about 6 or 7 years and I had passed by other trucks at about the same speeds, and it never came off either, until that one day. If you get the right combination of speed, air and suction when passing a big rig semi, it'll rip those things right off the center bar of the windshield. Take my word for it.[/quote']

Norm,

Sorry, my intention was not to suggest your accident would have been due to poor mounting. I belive what you say; with strong enough blow it will come off no matter tight it was mounted. I also belive you have longer experience on driving with the visor. However, it may be, that the rigs are a bit different shaped in EU, because so far I have not even felt air resistance on mine. What I mean is the thrust in the vent windows and sometimes even a sound from the nose clip when a big rig pulls past towards and blow of air hits your car.

I also agree, that it is foolish to install a sun visor on my car here in Finland where sunshine is not the major problem  - much more sensible to wear a pair of shades on me nose. The visor adds on fuel consumption, it blocks the sight from traffic lights, it is a potential safety risk and nowadays it is also expensive and hard to get. BUT it is sooo coool loooking... :o

Sincerely Yours...
