Robin (UK)
Guys, You'll like this... Someone I know just bought this 1928 Ford model AA truck. It's been in England for 15 years, but never registered for UK use. It is ex Warner Brothers and was used in the film 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit'. Also it is reputedly the Waltons' truck in the famous TV series - but that's not yet confirmed. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm looking forward to the day. It's showing less than 40,000 miles and that could be genuine. An amazing vehicle.
Norm's Coupe
Robin, I'm not completely sure since its been awhile since the Walton's was on TV. However, their truck was black. Not only that, but if I'm not mistaken it didn't have a box on the back. It was just a flatbed so they could haul the lumber they milled at their mill. Never saw "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", so wouldn't know about that truck. However, we watched "The Walton's" just about every week when it was on TV. Robin (UK)
Hi Norm, Yes, the Waltons' truck was definitely a different colour - I think it was dark green and black. (I found this picture on a Google search.) Anyway, I'm not saying it's definitely the same truck with a re-paint, but the seller says it's quite likely - more research needed on that. Norm's Coupe
Robin, I just found a die cast model of the truck too. Couldn't tell the color because the picture was too dark, but looked black. However, I guess I was mistaken about the truck not having a box on it. It did have a pickup box on the back.
