PatS.... Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 This is very nice! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1948-Plymouth-Woodie-Phantom-Street-Rod_W0QQitemZ180236508086QQcmdZViewItem Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 http://i23.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/eb/f7/feb8_12.JPG That phantom is a neat bit of work. The only thing I don't especiallly like about it is the slope at rear of the roof and shape of the rear side windows. But, of course, there is a notable price difference. The real one is buy it now for $125,000 and the phantom is $22,000. Quote
Bob Riding Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 So what do you think mine is worth? Can you even tell what year it is? Bob Quote
Jim Yergin Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 Bob, Just a "wild" guess, 1940? Didn't know they were so air conditioned back then. Jim Yergin Quote
Bob Riding Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 Right you are Jim...I bet yours never looked so "'vintage"! Quote
Niel Hoback Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 No problem with wind resistance, eh Bob? Quote
Normspeed Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Saw a guy at a swap last year with a pair of 1946 style Merc wagons, one fully refurbished and one in the condition of your wagon Bob, and he was asking something around 12,000 for the rough one. Quote
