I have my father's puller that he had at least 30 yrs ago, looks just like it. Thats about the easiest way to take off those rear drums. I like to leave the nut on the hub flush with the end just in case I really have to wack it so I dont mushroom the end and cant get the nut back on.

Don't know if this is recommended or not, but I always use neverseize on the axle when reassembling to make the next go round easier-but my kids will probably have to deal w that. Mike
