However-----if you look closely, the molded ridges on that back door do not match others on that side. Here are a couple 1946 suburbans....about the same animal. BobT-47P15 Posted December 4, 2006 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 Gary, back in the day when this vehicle was newer, people did such things as add that door. Back then it may have just been an "old" truck, not very expensive to buy, and they may have needed that door for getting the kids in and out more conveniently.....or who knows what????
