For the ones that don't, I'll paint in the black and red and then rub or sand off if I have to, any paint that bleads outside the lettering. Then I'll shoot new silver paint over the back. Quote

David- That's basically how I restored mine, and it does seem to come out better that way. The three-stage plastic polish I used really brightened up the plastic front like new. Quote
