Guest OldschoolJay Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 hey guys, just had a question. i am swapping my 50 dodge onto a s10 frame and will not need the original frame, drivetrain or old flathead. are they worth anything to others? or pretty much scrap? the frame is solid and there is not much rust other than some surface stuff. thanks in advance Quote
Guest OldschoolJay Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 victoria, BC, canada. as far west as ya can get. i should have the cab and box off the chassis this week. i just don't have lots of room to keep this stuff around. Quote
blohmiller Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 depending on how much you are asking for it if you have a way to get the frame to California for free I could use it Bryan Quote
Guest Kuster13 Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 motor and tranny in that frame? I'm just on the other side of the ferry. Tom Quote
woodscavenger Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 Looks like we may have a winner. How are you doing th frame swap? Some have talked about a kit from some guy in MN. Are you using this or is it a freestyle project? As a favor to some of us would you take some pics and make some notes and keep us up on the project. I think there would be more that a few interested in this swap. You would end up with modern supsension, brakes, and drive line with the old school sheet metal. Great combo! Quote
Guest OldschoolJay Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 motor and tranny are there in the chassis i will keep ya informed ont eh swap, i am doing it on my own without a kit. Quote
