Hickory Posted August 20, 2024 Report Posted August 20, 2024 In your earlier post it said vacuum reacts with the tick, and its loudest at idle, now it seams the noise is loudest under load and vacuum fairly steady. Have the conditions changed. If so then maybe the driving or the fogging has helped. Quote
Hickory Posted August 21, 2024 Report Posted August 21, 2024 (edited) More pronounced when cold, warm, any noticable loss of power, whats the oil pressure like, same as before. Where is the noise coming from, use a screwdriver to locate the vincinity. Could be timing chain slap but from new York it sounds like a wrist pin. But if the vacuum gauge is corresponding with the tick then it would sound more like a valve. Just some thoughts. Wish i was there to help. Edited August 21, 2024 by Hickory Quote
