Hi all!

So i bought a 51 Dodge from a guy that also bought it from a guy who probably also bought it from a guy... long story short, it's been sitting idle for at least 5 to 10 years and i want to flush out the (Gyromatic) tranny and fluid drive so i know i'll start off with the right fluids (i'm thinking 10W for the tranny and ISO32 for the fluid drive) because lord knows what they put in it... how do i properly clean them out without taking them apart? i heared something about draining the tranny, put in some Kerosene and drive around the block? (sounds sketchy tbh) but what about the fluid drive? just fill it up  and let is sit for a minute before draining again? maybe start the engine for a few seconds?

thx!
