I have an 37 D5 with the stock 23" 87hp "218" I was wondering the most I can mill off the head to raise compression. I have tried to research this but can only find the older 218 models and not sure if there is a difference since this on is older and lower HP. Thanks for the help

when i had mine done i think .060 was the limit. i had mine milled only .010 as i just wanted to have a flat surface. i have also taken heads off and put them back on with no milling.just check for a good flat surface.    capt den
