47heaven Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 I followed the lead from a posting on here about the 1940's Fords used the same kind of wiper arms the Plymouths did. So I went to local place that sells antique Ford parts only. Took my Plymouth ones in and sure enough found almost exact remakes meant to go on 1942-48 Fords. Not only were they new and shiney, but they fit perfect and have great tenion. $15 a pop! Not bad, ey? Ok rain...I'm ready for ya! Quote
oldmopar Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 The late 40's ford suppliers are always a good place to check also the stainless rear fender welting and pretty sure wheels should fit our cars. If you look at the fords they look similar, except when you compare prices, so I would think other body parts may fit depending how concerned you are about keep your car 100% original. Quote
