Solution DonaldSmith Posted April 15, 2023 Solution Report Share Posted April 15, 2023 "Dash to Instrument Panel Brace"? (They note the instrument panel, but what/where is the dash?) This is for a 602 radio, but the same idea.

DonaldSmith
In the illustration, notice the two sets of louvers on the top of the radio case. These let in the rain that gets past the cowl vent. You might want some flashing above the louvers, to deflect the rain.

This is for a 602 radio, but the same idea. My p15 has this radio style. The manual I got does not cover this. I wonder it I need a different book. Thanks for posting. Now I too can see how this I'd mounted. I'm told mine has not worked for over 40 years. It would be funny if it's something like a fuse or loose power wire.
