blucarsdn Posted March 4, 2023 Report Posted March 4, 2023 Bogart used the '38 Plym coupe in several films, one of his films of that era was a 39 Plym conv coupe that was shown being driven by a young woman in a driving rain storm. Ya know if you are going to restore your '38 into an image of Bogarts you have to include the tricky fold down gun keep in the bottom of the dash under the glove box. Wm Quote
The honey wagon farm Posted March 6, 2023 Author Report Posted March 6, 2023 No that’s a little bit out of my league. Actually I’m going to install a small hemi 1950 from a Chrysler imperial and keep the body as original as I possibly can with the dashboard and gauges but engine and trans going to be a hemi with a four-speed. MarcDeSoto Posted March 6, 2023 Report Posted March 6, 2023 Chrysler didn't make a V-8 in 1950. They made the V-8 in 51. DeSoto in 52. Dodge in 53. Plymouth in 56. Quote
