Saw a 46’ club coupe on the weekend!!

Wanted to give a big shout out to Dave ,

  “ Happy 46R”!
       My wife and I were able to meet up with him & his 46’ club coupe as they were on their return trip home from a holiday cruise from his home near Edmonton, Alberta all the way down to Saltcoats , Saskatchewan. 
    A trip not for the faint of heart for sure even in a modern vehicle. 
   They endured Saskatchewan’s “paved”? roads, searing heat, plaques of insects of Biblical proportions, and a thunderstorm to fend off with the coupes vac’ wipers. 
    Dave took the time to take us on a “smooth cruise” in the restored to original 46’ coupe , a great ride & much appreciated….. this car doesn’t need A/C ,it is way cool already ! 
   I estimate his holiday journey to be approximately 2000 km or 1,200 miles give or take , ….. and he was still smiling when we said our goodbyes & headed for home. 
      Well done Dave & Thanks again for taking the time and the inspiration !
