51 desoto custom 4 door with 251 six and a 52 desoto deluxe with 251. I pulled the engine on the custom to put in the deluxe

The engine went in just right but the clutch pivot etc doesnt fit correctly..Can anyone tell me how to retrofit this or what parts to find?

Did both cars have the M6 trans? Seems like it should have been a direct swap. How far out of alignment are you? Is it possible that the rear mounts are bad? I’m a Dodge guy so I’m not familiar with the DeSoto. Some pictures maybe?
