msarnold1990
I have a 48 Dodge D24. Trying to figure out where to make the adjustment on the column shift. I lost 2nd gear, but have all the others. I've looked in the shop manual, but cannot seem to find where the adjustment is. Do I need to get under the car or is it on the shifting rod? msarnold1990
Sorry I should have clarified. I've lost second gear, but I have R, 1 and 3. Trying to figure out how to adjust the column shifter to get 2nd back.
chrysler1941
If you loosen this nut you can change arm position. No guarantee you'll get your second back.
