My local aaca club was invited to come to the AACA Museum in Hershey today. The AACA was celebrating the Reopening of the Museum since the C19 virus closed it back in MArch. I was approx 80 mile one way trip. And on the tour with us was a 1957 Desoto Sedan, so these older cars can still do these kind of events.

As part of the tour we were all provide a catered lunch and if you drove in with an older car you could put it on display out in their open field.

The Car Museum was also open to the public and we all had a great time looking at the cars that were on display.

I cam across two vintage Desoto's  Both wee fromt he 1930's.  One was a Model CF that had the flat head 8 cylinder engine.  This was the only year that DeSoto had the flat head 8 and they did not use another 8 cylinder until the 50's with the early Hemi engine.

Also on display was a 1930 Desoto CK 6 cylindr flat head.  I have posted pictures of both these cars.  Also saw 4 Tuckers on display what a spectacular car.  along some vintage early Brass cars.

If you every get to attend the Great Hershey swap meet make it a point to go to the Museum you will be surprised at some of the cars.  They even had a Subaru from 1995 on display.  Yes this is an antique car, hard to think of this being an antique but it is.
