Morris Gould Posted June 4, 2020 Report Posted June 4, 2020 The left rear brake drum broke on my 37 broke and the housing has been welded up. I have found a good rear end from a 48 Plymouth couple that is being parted out . Would this interchange with my 37 ? Would the brake drums from the 48 fit a 37 ? This is my first car ,bought in 1968 ($200.00) and it has been parked since 1996 .I what to drive it to my 50th high school reunion this fall and have started getting ready for the road road. Quote
desoto1939 Posted June 5, 2020 Report Posted June 5, 2020 ok from my Hollander interchange book 1937 Plymouth is a 10 inch diam drum What model is your 37 Plyouth The Plymouth 40-48 5 pass and Commercial and Army sedan should fit but note that they did use 10 and 11 inch drum on 48. Take measurements if you can. If buying from a distance then ask if you can return if they do not fit 1937 Chrykser c16 5 pass and 1937 Desoto S3 5 passenger and ply 1937-39 5 pass P4 P5 & P6 5 pass P8 5 pass Rich Hartung Desoto1939@aol.com Quote
