I knew the engine was not (currently) the original, that one needs a rebuild. So I decoded the engine number. Seems it is a 230ci engine, 1958 from a D100. Cool!

 

When I rebuild the original one, I plan on using this crank and rods to keep the displacement :) Some days are better than others.
